"Aileen is consistently demonstrating academic excellence, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to her personal growth and community. As a dedicated participant in the AVID program, she has not only sharpened her study skills but also become a peer mentor, guiding others toward success. Aileen’s academic rigor is further exemplified through her participation in challenging Concurrent Enrollment, IB, and AP courses this year, where she consistently performs at a high level, balancing the demands of critical thinking and creative problem-solving. Beyond academics, Aileen is a positive force within the school community, always willing to step up as a leader in extracurricular activities and inspire her peers to strive for their best." - Jeff Cranson, Principal

Career/College Plans

I plan to major in biological sciences with a focus in molecular biology then go to medical school to be a surgeon.

Favorite Subject

My favorite subject is math because it is a subject with a wide variety of topics. There's always one specific answer at the end and there are multiple different ways to get to a problem.

Favorite Teacher

Mr. Falter because he prepared me for high school as a freshman and his teaching has shaped who I am to this day. Mr. Wagner because he always finds ways to make a connection to students and makes his classroom a home.

Hobbies

Baking, reading, hiking, soccer, running (anything active)

Favorite Food and/or Restaurant

My favorite food is tamales because they remind me of my family in Mexico and symbolize culture and love to me.

Favorite Movie or Television Show

The Equalizer

Personal Goals

To always push myself into becoming a better version of myself. Also to retire my parents and give back to them.

What Do You Like Best About Your School

The family/community. Teachers make it a priority to get to know students and make it a safe place.
