Volleyball Coaches
Rahtaya Kirby, "Coach Kirby"
Head Coach
Coach Kirby is the Head Varsity Coach for the JMSA Girls Volleyball Program. Originally from Nebraska, she has called Greeley home for the past four years and plans to stay. She is also a 4th-grade teacher at JMSA, holding a B.A. in Elementary Education with a coaching endorsement and an M.A. in Teaching with a CLD endorsement.
A lifelong athlete, Coach Kirby has played a variety of sports, including volleyball. Her previous coaching experience includes soccer and swim team, and this is her second year coaching volleyball at JMSA. Outside of school, she enjoys camping, backpacking, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends over board games.

Kimberlee Perales
Head Coach
Coach Kim is the Cross Country coach for JMSA and has been coaching student athletes for 16 years in D6 and in our Greeley community. Coach Kim brings high energy to the running community and provides an all-inclusive environment for student athletes. When not in the classroom or at practice, Kim loves to train for and compete in Masters Track and Field, where she specializes in triple jump and the 400m dash.
Boys Basketball Coaches
Jesus Aparicio, "Coach Zuez"
Varsity and Head Coach
Coach Zeuz is the Head Coach for the JMSA Boys Basketball program. He is a proud Northridge High School graduate and former Colorado State University - Pueblo student. In addition, Coach Zeuz has played basketball for more than fifteen years and brings more than five years of coaching experience to JMSA. When he is not on the court, Coach Zeuz enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and snowboarding.
Emily Marquise
Junior Varsity and C Team Coach
Coach Marquise is an accomplished middle school teacher with experience teaching mathematics. Today, Coach Marquise is the Robotics and Engineering teacher at JMSA. She earned a BA in Education and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction for Diverse Communities. Coach Marquise has several years of experience playing basketball for her church middle school team. She coached girls basketball at her previous school in Texas. When Coach Marquise is not on the court, she likes to spend time in nature, bake, and play video games.
