Athletic Eligibility

Student-athletes are expected to represent JMSA with excellence. Maintaining academic excellence and demonstrating positive behavior are essential requirements for participation in JMSA athletics. Please review the expectations below to ensure your student-athlete remains eligible to participate throughout the season.

Code of Ethics

Below are the rules and guidelines for student participation in co-curricular activities. Students who choose to participate in co-curricular activities serve as leaders and role models for other students and as representatives of their school and the District to the wider community. These rules and guidelines are intended to establish and encourage the commitment by participating students to conduct which is beneficial to their health, welfare and performance and which promotes the mission and purposes of District 6. These guidelines apply to ALL CHSAA sanctioned activities at both middle and high school.

Equipment Checkout

All equipment and uniforms checked out to a student-athlete are their responsibility until they are returned.
If a student-athlete forgets their uniform for a game, an additional uniform will not be issued.
All equipment and uniforms are issued in clean, working condition and should be returned in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted.
Equipment or uniforms that are lost, stolen, damaged beyond normal wear and tear, or not returned may result in a fee being assessed to the student's account. Outstanding fees may affect future athletic participation or registration until resolved.
